Although more tempting to stay in Puxi side of the river, the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong gives strong reason to live in Pudong, Shanghai’s financial center.
The hotel is near from everywhere, including the Pearl Tower (memmberikan hotel bar scene is very close to the tower) and the Shanghai Expo site, so you can easily become a tourist in this town. There is also a luxury that blend office, residential and shopping centers, so the busy businessman.
There are 285 rooms at this hotel that offers a direct view to the city center, such as the Huangpu River and the Bund in Shanghai is famous for. The rooms have glass windows from floor to ceiling, equipped with Frette linens and bath, everything is perfect to relax and calm down from all the commotion in the street below.
W Retreat Koh Samui, Thailand

Remained here lately with my loved ones for many nights coupled with much to anticipate because it would be a really new Ritz Carlton in Shanghai, the 2nd one out of fact, because they come with an older on the other hand from the river. The professionals of the hotel would be the usual. Spacious, new, and hi-tech. Actually you can still smell the fresh paint about this joint. And since its situated in IFC building, you’ve got a first class mall situated underneath the hotel. To put it simply, hardware smart, there’s absolutely nothing to complain relating to this hotel. The cons of the hotel, are triggered by the employees of this hotel. This can be a rather ongoing trouble with most hotels in China, whether 3 star, 4 star, or five star. Service simply sucks! I understand this is a strong statement, but I am basically stating a well known fact. Check-in was absurd inefficient and chaotic. It does not help once the receptionist knows under fundamental British. Even when I would dumb lower my request in fundamental British, she’d still search for her friend for help. We requested our rooms to become put on a single floor, i was given rooms on different floor. So when we requested why, they stated hotel was full. We’d buddies attempting to achieve us within our room by telephone, plus they had trouble being attached to our rooms because, the operators could not speak British either. Overall, another really good new hotel in China, but service leaves much to become preferred. Maybe in another ten years, China may have adequately trained servers to accompany their awesome new hotels which are popping up every couple of days.
