With the Christmas festive period approaching, many will be thinking of where they will be to welcome in the New Year. Maybe New York and the dropping ball in Times Square? Barcelona is the perfect city for all, it is large and diverse with many cultures and attractions that could not bore even the most stubborn teenage. The city is as enthralling in the day as it is in the night. To experience a night like New Years Eve in the city, you will soon find yourself wanting to return next year.
Barcelona caters for all, no matter your tastes or desires! Barcelona will make the New Year special for all. The options are vast from beach parties, street celebrations, clubbing and fine dining. Barcelona guarantees a magical night that will leave a lasting impression to all that embrace the merry atmosphere.
Maybe try some of the unique traditions done in Spain which are sure to bring a little local culture and entertainment to your night. The most well known and challenging is the twelve grapes tradition. The challenge if you choose to accept it, is to eat twelve grapes on the twelve church chimes heard all around Barcelona. If you manage this it means you will have twelve months good luck but try not to choke! The second is not as challenging, but it is to wear red underwear for the night. As I said Barcelona has something for everyone!
