Determining the travel destination can be started from several things, such as childhood nostalgia, obsessions and woke stored for a long time, hobbies, field of study / work, and the media you read.

When I was a junior high school, I read the travel coverage in National Geographic magazine. I idolized an Iranian photographer Reza Deghati named, because his photographs amaze me at the time. Shadows become photojournalists appeared and continued to follow me a few years after that. I so want to visit Tabriz, Iran, from the photographer.

Reading “Istanbul” by Orhan Pamuk was a bit exhausting, but amazing. I could spend an entire book with a simple motivation: the imagination of the city of Istanbul at the times described in situ. I was brought back and forth merentasi time, “forced” to imagine certain details which were enough to make me want to go there.

I prefer the plane of the train, but my goal actually ride the Trans-Siberian railway from Beijing to Moscow. First read about it on the Internet, I immediately fell in love with heart full of hope. In my opinion, nothing is more amazing than “isolate” themselves in “the middle of nowhere” with a small population but tersuguhkan natural charm like the movie.

Looking at a map of the underground railroad, in Tokyo for example, makes me wonder what the place through which these pathways. I do not really care what path it will take me to the place of “popular”, I’d rather go down in any place. The whole city is the main attraction.

As a history buff when school lessons, I discovered another side of Singapore is not just a shopping tour, the museum-museum, the streets filled with houses and shops Peranakan style. Not many places in the world who can organize and pack again with good architectural heritage like this.

Childhood memories across Sumbing and Mount Sindoro on the way between Navan and Semarang, makes me want to do another road trip like that.

When planning your next trip, start from simple inspirations. Of course, no need to go far, but much can be learned from past experience, whether bitter or sweet. Determine where the most realistic at the time and start moving!
