Crystal River / Cano Cristales located in the mountains of Serrania de la Macarena, Columbia. To reach this place there is no modern vehicles that can be used (except for helicopters, perhaps?). So, should use a horse, donkey, or the least expensive: on foot.
The beauty of Crystal River usually occurs during the transition season (transition) between the months of September-November, the river is to be colorful. Why is that? The amount of algae in water that produces vibrant colors ranging from the most dominant: red, to green, blue, yellow, just like a rainbow.
Because of the beauty of the colors that appear on this river, the Crystal River earned the nickname “River Five Colors”, the other called “The Liquid Rainbow” and “The River That Ran Away From Paradise“.
